on the road south of Kata Beach overlooking Kata Noi and Kata Yai
Beaches. Thai food, good prices, great views.
Pan Yah Restaurant [below]: Great views of Patong
Bay and Patong city lights at night - just a couple kilometres north of
Patong on the Beach Road. Get there early for the best view seats.
On the Rocks [no photo] - highly recommended house
restaurant at the Marina Resort on the north end of Kata Town - facing
Karon Beach. Excellent food - great views.
Secret Cliff:
Big signs, on the road from Patong to Karon - great views over Karon and
Kata Beaches. Excellent food, reasonable prices.
Several local
restaurants are well known for their excellent food AND views: Rockfish
in Kamala Beach, Baan Rim Pa on the north end of Patong Beach, Watermark
at the Boat Lagoon [views of multi-million dollar yachts], Joe's
Downstairs, The 9th Floor, Mom Tri's Boathouse, and many more - look for
